reflections
This project came to us through a special invitation to collaborate with a talented design group on the renovation of an existing home. The brief was clear: a family needed more space, more light, better circulation, and a home organized around the way they actually live.
The primary focus was the rear of the house, where the existing layout had long kept the kitchen and primary bedroom disconnected from the backyard and lacking in light and unobstructed views. By expanding windows, reworking walls, and reorienting both rooms toward the garden and nature reserves beyond, we flooded the interior with natural light and established a genuine connection to the outdoor landscape. Every room was examined for its full potential—circulation paths clarified, spaces right-sized, and the overall organization rethought to serve the family’s specific needs. The result is a home that flows intuitively from room to room.
At ZTC Architecture, we believe that a well-designed renovation is not simply about adding space—it is about unlocking the potential that already exists within a home. The Sagg project is a reflection of our ability to listen carefully, collaborate openly, and deliver designs that are tailored to the lives of the people who inhabit them.
